Tuesday was a long day for most Xbox 360 owners as Xbox Live was down for the past 24 hours (give or take an hour). Today Xbox Live came back up, and with it came new functionality on the "My Xbox" section of the Xbox.ca website. The newly redesigned website allows for easier customization of your Xbox Live settings.

But not all is well. The Xbox Marketplace is still experiencing major problems. One key issue is the download of the new Xbox Live Arcade content off Magic: The Gathering and Sam & Max. Major Nelson posted that Microsoft engineers (them r really really smart guys) are working to resolve the issues.

I hope so MS, as Sam & Max do not wait for anyone.

There are still some issues with the Xbox.com web site I see as well. You cannot easily compare games with friends anymore. If they are 1 of the 3 friends it shows on the My Account page - you're in luck, if not you're toast (without some careful URL editing anyways) :)

I so want to play some Sam & Max for which I paid for. I purchased both games before I realized there were issues.
