As posted a few days ago, at the Microsoft PAX East Tweet-up, Major Nelson confirmed the rumours that the Xbox 360 would support USB storage devices (memory units and external hard drives) for everything now performed by the extremely expensive Memory Units and Xbox 360 hard drives. The USB devices need to be at least 1GB in size but while there is no limit to the size of the drive, the Xbox 360 console will only support a single 16GB partition per device with up to two devices connected per console. Expect the USB storage support on April 6. Read on for more information.

"This hard drive is not being sold separately" quoted Major Nelson back in September of last year. He was talking about the 250GB hard drive that was to be included in the Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3, Final Fantasy XIII and Splinter Cell Conviction Xbox 360 bundles. Major Nelson made it quite clear that the only way you could obtain a 250GB HDD is by purchasing a special bundle. Oh Larry how could you have mislead us so. Today on the Xbox 360 dashboard and website the following product appeared; Xbox 360 Hard Drive (250 GB) for only $129.99US. Read on for more information.
