I love Netflix. I can always find something to watch. While this is true, there are other who find the content a bit lacking. This is true when compared to the American content.

You may be glad to know that you can easily access American content from Canada by making a simple change on your console.

Delete your Netflix app, then modify your network settings to point your DNS settings to the following addresses.
Primary: 190.111.36.90
Secondary: 109.123.111.24

Now download the app once again. Enter your Netflix credentials and enjoy way more content.

Hopefully I can watch new ep of Breaking Bad and Rescue Me...

This is the best post this year!

EDIT - no luck on Breaking Bad, but all of Rescue Me is there.

Also seems a bit slower with these new DNS entries, not 100% but it seems that way.

Now if we just had a way to browse the US Netflix site we'd be almost set.

MS really needs to modify the Netflix app too - this latest one sucks.

btw - HUH? has re-emerged - we went back to BFBC2 last Sunday and had a blast all over again. It was teabagging and taking tags with some HUH moments all over again...

It brought back some great moments for me when we played sunday night. Playing BC2 makes me more disappointed in BF3.

The selection of videos available on Netflix is pretty good here in Canada. Having friends in the US talk to me about stuff they watch on Netflix usually helps . haha..

ALso VPN looks like a good solution to enjoy more of a selection, and at a fairly decent price it seems! :D

I guess but why pay/use VPN when this workaround is free? Works great too. Still haven't made time to see if I change my router if all my devices will get US Netflix, but since the Canadian one does still have the odd thing the US doesn't, this is the best of both worlds
